ADALINA ANHALT On February 5, 2001, at Meadowood Manor, Adalina Anhalt, of Winnipeg, died at the age of 67 years. She is survived by daughter Rosemarie of Virden, Man., and three sons, Ryan, Richard and Paul (Kimberley), all of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Stephen, Crissie, Rebecca, Sarah, David and Alyssa and one great-granddaughter Jenay; also one brother Eric (Mavis) of Winnipeg. Adalina was predeceased by her parents Karl and Elsa and brother Edwin. Adalina was born in 1933 in western Ukraine. She came to Canada in 1948 and was baptized in the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church in 1949. She married Eric Anhalt in 1952. Her life dramatically changed in 1962 when she was involved in a car accident which left her paralysed. She has been a resident of Meadowood Manor since 1990. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with interment in Brookside Cemetery. Viewing at the chapel prior to the service.
